Maple Grove at Edina
7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 16

Edina has found no success against Maple Grove since adding the Crimson to the schedule two years ago. The No. 10-6A Hornets hope to change that as they look to defend their home field against No. 3-6A Maple Grove in West Metro District South Division play this week.

The Hornets (1-1) have yet to get their offense going, putting up just 32 points in the first two weeks, but the defense has been a bright spot, forcing six turnovers this season.

That stalwart defense will square off against veteran senior quarterback Brad Davison. Davison helped the Crimson (2-0) to their 34-16 win over the Hornets last season, throwing two touchdowns to keep Edina at bay.
