Recap: A trio of explosive touchdowns led No. 3 Totino-Grace to victory. Gayflor Flomo took the game’s opening kickoff 91 yards for a score. He added a 50-yard touchdown reception for the Eagles (5-1) in the third quarter. Backfield mate Ivan Burlak, who lives in the Champlin Park attendance boundary, ran for a 50-yard score on the first play of the fourth quarter. He finished with 165 rushing yards. “At the end of the year, you can usually throw a hoop around a handful of teams that will be in the hunt,” Totino-Grace coach Jeff Ferguson said. “Those teams get better. We want to position ourselves to be in that hoop.”

Key of the game: The Totino-Grace defense got beat for a touchdown pass from Chad Costello to Marcus Hill in the first quarter, then got tough. The Rebels (3-3) only mustered a field goal the rest of the way.

One thing to know: Totino-Grace junior Rocky Kreuser made his debut under center. Starting quarterback Kyle Halverson missed the game due to an illness.

Backfield mate Ivan Burlak took the first play of the fourth quarter 50 yards for a touchdown. Champlin Park (3-3) scored on a Chad Costello pass to Marcus Hill.
