A high-scoring Elk River offense takes on a Rogers team that is surging behind a stout defense in North Central Blue subdistrict play. 

The No. 9-5A Elks (4-1, 2-1) enter the week averaging 46.0 points per game. Elk River's offense is a product of several capable rushers, led by Nick Rice's 830 yards and 10 touchdowns. Sam Gibas (268 yards, 5 TDs) and Kyle Ziemer (263 yards, 3 TDs) have aided the attack. 

Rogers (4-1, 2-1) surrenders just 13.8 ppg, and is fresh off a 21-17 win in which it shut out St. Francis in the second half. The Royals scored 21 points after halftime to rally for the win. Blayne Kasper rushed for 122 yards and two TDs in the victory.
