SMB at Minneapolis South
7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 18

From nearly forfeiting every game before the season started to owning a perfect record halfway through it, SMB could be the feel-good story of the fall. St. Paul Academy, Minnehaha Academy and Blake seem to have made a good choice in forming a cooperative in football as the Wolfpack (4-0, 3-0) sit atop the Twin City Gold subdistrict standings entering this week's league matchup with Minneapolis South.

Bringing the schools together as a co-op gives SMB more depth, and it certainly showed last week in a 43-0 win over New Life Academy that saw six different players score.

Minneapolis South (3-1, 1-0) will be looking to put last week's 34-0 loss to Mound Westonka in the rearview mirror.
