Versatile offensive players have helped Orono and Holy Angels get off to hot starts. 

The No. 5-4A Spartans boast an offense featuring do-it-all running back David McCuskey. The senior has 555 total yards on 73 touches and has found the end zone six times for an Orono team that has scored 41 points or more per game.

Senior quarterback Hank Seward has shown he can beat teams with his arm and legs. He has thrown for 464 yards and five touchdowns and rushed for 178 yards and three TDs.

The No. 2-4A Stars counter with quarterback Joseph Heimbold, a dual-threat who has 341 passing yards, 185 rushing yards and a combined fours TDs. Danny Hoffman has 339 total yards and three TDs, helping Holy Angels average 30.7 points per game.
