Mounds View at Stillwater

Mounds View's defense made a statement last week when the Mustangs held East Ridge (No. 3-6A) to a lone fourth-quarter touchdown in a 21-6 upset. Mounds View looks to continue that outstanding play when it travels to Stillwater for a game that will determine the Suburban East Conference title. 

A win over Mounds View (6-1, 6-0) would give the Ponies a share of the conference title. Stillwater (6-1, 5-1) bounced back from its only loss with a 47-20 thumping of Woodbury last week.  

Mustangs' quarterback Joe Frederickson has thrown for 832 yards and 12 touchdowns. Frederickson had three touchdown passes last week.

Stillwater quarterback DJ Skie had a solid game last week, throwing for 164 yards and four touchdowns and upping his season totals to 1,119 yards and 15 touchdowns. Ponies' running back Zach Knox has 673 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns in five games.
