Centennial at Blaine
7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 10

Blaine defeated Centennial 42-20 in the teams' regular-season matchup last year. The Cougars, however, redeemed themselves by ending the Bengals' season with a 17-11 victory in the first round of the Section 6A playoffs. The two teams are set to renew their rivalry in a Northwest Suburban North Division game Friday.

Blaine (4-2, 3-1) would move ahead of Centennial (4-2, 4-1) in the conference standings with a win. The Bengals need a better performance than the one they turned in last week against Maple Grove. Blaine mustered only 114 yards of total offense in the 50-0 loss to the Crimson.

Centennial’s Tyler Iaquinto led the Cougars over Coon Rapids last week with 222 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
