Northfield's lone blemish is a Week 2 loss to Big 9 Conference rival No.1-5A Mankato West. The Raiders (5-1, 5-1) received seven votes in the Associated Press' poll and are sitting just outside Class 5A's Top 10 rankings.

The Panthers (4-2, 4-2) hope to bounce back from a 64-14 loss to Mankato West last week. Century's only other loss was a 40-37 defeat to defending Class 5A state champion Owatonna.
