Edina at Hopkins
7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 10

Looking at Edina's 1-5 overall record and it's easy to assume the Hornets are having a down year. Edina has, however, played well against some of the state's top teams.

Edina (1-2 in the Lake Conference) lost by four points to No. 2-4A DeLaSalle, and No. 2-6A Rosemount defeated the Hornets by seven points.

The Royals (4-2, 2-0), No. 10-6A, are coming off a bye week that could not have come at a better time. Hopkins closes out the regular season facing Class 6A's top-ranked team, Eden Prairie.

Edina won each of the last three meetings with Hopkins, including a 41-7 victory last year.
