DeLaSalle at Holy Angels
7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 10

There will only be one undefeated team standing after Friday night when a pair of Class 4A powerhouses clash.

DeLaSalle (6-0), No. 2-4A, takes its high-scoring offense to Holy Angels, No. 3-4A. The Islanders have piled up 297 points through six weeks, making them one of the highest-scoring teams in the state. The Stars (6-0), however, are no slouches when it comes to finding the end zone as they average more than 41 points per game.

DeLaSalle’s offense was nearly unstoppable last week, and quarterback Billy Hart played a huge role in the victory. The senior threw for 433 yards and seven touchdowns as the Islanders defeated Benilde-St. Margaret's 63-31.

Hart's top targets were Marquise Bridges, who caught nine passes for 262 yards and three touchdowns, and Isaac Hodge, who finished with nine receptions for 162 yards and four touchdowns.

Holy Angels quarterback Anthony Ekholm is also coming off a phenomenal game. He threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns while also leading the Stars in rushing with 151 yards and a touchdown.

Both teams are 3-0 in the Tri-Metro Conference and the winner would clinch at least a share of the conference championship. DeLaSalle and Holy Angels met last year in the Class 4A state semifinals, where the Stars recorded a 32-21 victory.
