Eden Valley-Watkins at Pierz
7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 3

Eden Valley-Watkins has shown it can stick with some of the better teams in the state the last two weeks, but the Eagles weren't able to pull out a victory, falling by eight points to both Holdingford and Maple Lake. Eden Valley-Watkins (3-2, 2-2) could have trouble finding a victory again when it travels to Pierz, ranked No. No. 6 in Class 3A, for a Central Minnesota Conference clash Friday.

The Pioneers are undefeated this season and have blown out all of their opponents except for Maple Lake, which they defeated 28-21 in Week Two.

With a with a victory over the Eagles, Pierz (5-0, 4-0) moves closer to bringing home a conference championship for the first time since 2011.
