New London-Spicer's next game will test the Wildcats, No. 1 in Class 3A, as they face a Holy Family Catholic team (2-0) coming off a 34-20 victory over Dassel-Cokato.

New London-Spicer (2-0) must keep tabs on Fire senior running back Chazz Johnson, who racked up 293 total yards and scored three touchdowns last week. The Wildcats also boast a solid rushing attack. New London-Spicer finished with 241 yards rushing in a victory over Delano (No. 6-4A) last week.

New London-Spicer made a state finals' appearance in 2013. Holy Family Catholic has won two of the past three meetings between the two teams.
