Kasson-Mantorville at Triton

Kasson-Mantorville opens the season with a tough road test but it will be a very short, six-mile bus ride for the KoMets as they open the season against Triton in Dodge Center.

The Cobras, Class 2A state champs in 2000 and 2006, get a look at a Class 4A program coming off a state appearance. Triton, meanwhile, packed eight wins between a pair of losses in 2013.

Kasson-Mantorville had an impressive 2013 season, losing just one regular season game and falling to eventual Class 4A runner up Holy Angels 21-14 in the state quarterfinals.
