Minnesota high school senior football players will compete Saturday in the 45th annual all-star football game at U.S. Bank Stadium.

The game, at 3 p.m., features teams representing the South and North and will be televised on Ch. 9. The North team’s coaching staff is led by Scott Gonnerman of Benson while Dan Fritze of East Ridge heads the South team’s coaching staff.

It’s the second consecutive year that the game has been played at the Vikings stadium on the heels of the recently completed high school season.

Tickets are $16 for adults, $8 for youth ages 13 to 17. Children age 12 and under get in free. Proceeds will go to the Minnesota Football Coaches Association and the Tackle Cancer Campaign.

The game is the culmination of several activities including youth football clinics, autographs with former Vikings and performances by marching bands and cheer and dance teams.
