Offensive Player of the Week revealed

Elijah Cloos, Ortonville. The senior tight end set school records in both receiving yards (270) and touchdowns in a single game (5), helping Ortonville overcome a 21-point deficit in the third quarter to defeat Lac Qui Parle Valley 50-47

Player of the Week candidates

Aidan Bouman, Buffalo. In a game that was tied at two different times during the second half, the sophomore quarterback completed 32 passes for 432 yards and three touchdowns to edge Chisago Lakes 48-41.

Elijah Cloos, Ortonville. The senior tight end set school records in both receiving yards (270) and touchdowns in a single game (5), helping Ortonville overcome a 21-point deficit in the third quarter to defeat Lac Qui Parle Valley 50-47.

Troy Ellison, St. Anthony. In a narrow 49-46 win over Columbia Heights, the sophomore wide receiver had 15 receptions for 210 yards and three touchdowns, and added a fourth TD on an 86-yard kick return.

Connor Foley, New Ulm. The senior wide receiver averaged nearly 41 yards per reception in a 57-25 loss to Jordan, accumulating 326 yards on eight receptions for four touchdowns.

Joe Heimbold, Holy Angels. The senior quarterback recorded three touchdowns in the second quarter to put the Stars up 26-7 at halftime and finished the game with 118 passing yards and 204 rushing yards.

Josiah Johnson, St. Anthony. The senior quarterback threw six touchdowns, going 29-for-40 for 440 yards and adding 37 rushing yards on four carries in a 49-46 win over Columbia Heights.

Nick Prentice, Orono. In a 52-14 win over DeLaSalle, the junior quarterback threw for 293 yards and five touchdowns.

David Roddy, Breck. The junior quarterback threw for 299 yards and three touchdowns on 15 connections and added 52 yards on the ground in a 49-14 win over St. Paul Harding.

Skyler Rudelius-Palmer, St. Louis Park. The senior scored 10 of the Orioles’ 16 points, converting on his only extra point attempt and all three field goal attempts. His final field goal came with no time left in the fourth quarter to break the tie and give the Orioles the 16-13 win over Irondale.

Treyton Welch, Buffalo. In a 48-41 win over Chisago Lakes, the junior wide receiver totaled 321 yards and two receiving touchdowns. Welch threw one pass for 36 yards and had one carry for three yards, 14 receptions for 214 yards, and 68 yards on kick returns.
