No. 3, 4A Apple Valley 77, Lakeville South 56. Three players for the Eagles tallied 17 points, including Tre Jones who leads his team in points. Jack Sorenson, who also leads his team in points, scored 18 points for the Cougars, but it wasn’t enough to help his team get the win. Apple Valley won their 14th game in a row and remain 14-0 in the South Suburban Conference.

No. 2, 4A Maple Grove 58, Robbinsdale Armstrong 56. Armstrong took the first half, but the Crimson came out flying in the second half to get the win. Brad Davidson of Maple Grove, a Wisconsin commit, dropped 18 points. Race Thompson of Robbinsdale Armstrong was able post 20 points to help his team, but they couldn’t break Maple Grove’s win streak, which is now at five games.

No. 1, 4A Champlin Park 88, Irondale 51. The Rebels dominated the game despite the Knights' push to gain the edge in the second half. Champlin’s Mckinley Wright, a Dayton commit, scored 21 points, while Irondale’s Sean Sutherland, the team's leading scorer, tallied 16 points. Champlin Park remains undefeated, improving its record to 21-0.

No. 6, 3A Delano 90, Holy Family 64. The Fire kept it close in the first half, being down by five. But in the second half, the Tigers came out flying. Delano’s Calvin Wishert showed why he his second in the state for total points by dropping 24. Holy Family’s Griffin Johnson posted 17 points.

No. 1, 3A DeLaSalle 105, Fridley 76. The Islanders held strong in this matchup against the Tigers. DeLaSalle came out strong in the first half, but Fridley fought hard, closing the gap in the second. But it wasn’t enough to upset the number one team in Class 3A. Goanar Mar, who leads his team in points and is a George Mason commit, struck for 21 points along with Dominic Bledsoe. Their teammate Gabe Kalscheur tallied 20 points. Tigers senior Michael Crandall scored 24 points. The Islanders extended their winning streak to 14 games.

Breck 77, No. 2, 1A Heritage Christian 53. The Eagles were dominated in the first half by the Mustangs. They did their best come back in the second half but couldn’t close the gap. Breck’s David Roddy, who leads his team in points, dropped 14 points, but it was Quinlan Faeth and freshman Kerwin Walton who stepped up big by scoring 16 points apiece. CJ Woda who leads the Eagles in points was able to tally 21 points and Zach Johanson posted 17 points but it wasn’t enough to get the win.

St. Paul Como Park 65, St. Paul Humboldt 62.  It was a close game between two inner city schools in the St. Paul City Conference. Como’s leading scorer, Trey Clark, dropped 16 points along with Jason Jett, but it was Kyle Woodward who stepped up with 18 points. St. Paul Humboldt’s Guadalupe Tovalin tallied 19 points for his team but they couldn’t control the Cougars in the second half.
