In the fourth quarter of last week’s Vikings-Packers game, NBC Sunday Night Football showed video footage of Moen’s scoring run Sept. 16 against Minneapolis Washburn. Moen, a wide receiver, ran his first jet sweep of the season to perfection.

The school’s athletic department tweeted afterward that “millions of people’’ saw it.

“He’s super excited, and he should be,” Huskies coach Todd Niklaus said. “It’s great publicity for our kids.”

Grand milestone

Osseo senior setter Ellie Hoyt registered career assist No. 1,000 in a three-game sweep against Park Center on Sept. 15.

Hall of Famers recognized

The Mounds View Hall of Fame Class of 2016 was recognized before the school’s football game against Roseville.

Inductees are Jackie, Beth and John Best, Travis Busch, Jennifer Cafferty, Eric Johnson, Colin Plummer, Hannah Skildum, Jeff Taylor, Tom Watson, Adam Weber and Tim White.

Hazewinkels honored

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum announced that Anoka’s Jim and Dave Hazewinkel, two of the most prominent wrestlers in Greco-Roman history, will be inducted into the Alan and Gloria Rice Greco-Roman Hall of Champions on Oct. 22 at Augsburg College.
