Winning streaks eventually come to an end, and Eden Prairie had its 40-game undefeated run  one that spanned four seasons  halted in last season's Class 6A state quarterfinals.

It was one of the most dominant runs for a program in state history, and head coach Mike Grant's Eagles are expected to return to winning form as they kick off a new season with 57 seniors on the roster.

Their season opens with a familiar foe, as Totino-Grace will play beneath the lights on Eden Prairie's home field  marking the first time the teams have faced off since the game in which that historic streak came to an end, making this clash between two of the state's best programs our Top Game of the Week.
