Four-TD performance boosts No. 1 Eden Prairie

• EDEN PRAIRIE 27, WAYZATA 13: Will Rains rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns and caught a TD pass as the Eagles, ranked No. 1 in the Star Tribune Metro Poll and Class 6A, earned their 24th consecutive victory. Blake Cashman intercepted two passes to lead the Eagles defense.

• ANOKA 17, ELK RIVER 10: The Tornadoes built a 17-0 lead in the first half and then held on to defeat the Elks, ranked No. 8 in Class 5A. The Elks scored with four minutes remaining to pull within a touchdown at 17-10.

• ROSEMOUNT 28, LAKEVILLE SOUTH 7: Dimitri Williams rushed for two touchdowns and caught two TD passes to lead the Irish, ranked No. 2 in the Metro Poll, past the Cougars.

• PRIOR LAKE 60, FARMINGTON 7: Andrew Owodunni’s three touchdowns sparked Prior Lake, ranked No. 5 in the Metro Poll, to victory.

• HOPKINS 27, EDINA 24: The Royals, ranked No. 9 in Class 6A, built a 17-3 halftime lead and held on for the victory over the Hornets, who scored 14 points in the final nine minutes.

• HUTCHINSON 62, HOLY FAMILY 7: Marcus Hahn passed for 227 yards and two TDs and Robbie Grimsley rushed for 101 yards and three TDs as the Tigers, ranked No. 7 in the Metro Poll and No. 1 in Class 4A, rolled to their 33rd consecutive victory. The Tigers opened a 28-0 lead in the first quarter. On the season, the Tigers have outscored opponents 179-0 in the first quarter.

• LAKEVILLE NORTH 42, BURNSVILLE 13: The Panthers, ranked No. 8 in the Metro Top 10 and No. 5 in 4A, raced to a 35-0 halftime lead en route to the victory over the Blaze. Riley Crawford ran for two TDs for the Panthers.

• BENILDE-ST. MARGARET’S 33, BLOOMINGTON JEFFERSON 24: Nate Barry rushed for 224 yards and three touchdowns to help the Red Knights rally past the Jaguars, ranked No. 9 in Class 5A. Colton Myles rushed for 126 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead the Jaguars, who led 16-0 at halftime.

• SOUTH ST. PAUL 28, HILL-MURRAY 14: Junior QB Dan Pietruszewski rushed for 112 yards and three TDs to direct the Packers, ranked No. 6 in Class 4A, past the Pioneers.

• MONTICELLO 25, CHISAGO LAKES 19: The Magic rushed for 280 yards and four touchdowns in outlasting the Wildcats, ranked No. 4 in Class 5A.

• ST. MICHAEL-ALBERTVILLE 49, CAMBRIDGE-ISANTI 7: Tyler Hayes and Jackson Greenwaldt each rushed for two TDs and Jordan Joseph rushed for 114 yards as the Knights, ranked No. 6 in Class 5A, topped the Bluejackets.

• BECKER 48, ST. CLOUD CATHEDRAL 7: Michael Veldman passed for 204 yards and four touchdowns to fuel the victory for the Bulldogs, ranked No. 5 in Class 4A.

• CENTENNIAL 56, BLAINE 26: Tyler Iaquinto scored four TDs — three in the fourth quarter — as the Cougars pulled away from the Bengals. The Cougars, who led 21-20 after three quarters, scored 35 points in the fourth quarter. It was 42-26 before Centennial scored twice in less in a minute, on a 85-yard kickoff return by Iaquinto and a 60-yard interception return by Danny Anderson.

• CRETIN-DERHAM HALL 34, ROSEVILLE 7: Maxwell Jackson threw three scoring passes and Dmitri Walker rushed for 151 yards and two TDs to pace Cretin-Derham Hall.

• EAGAN 27, SHAKOPEE 7: Sam Zenner rushed for 218 yards and three TDs and threw a TD pass to lead the Wildcats pass the Sabers.

• EASTVIEW 38, APPLE VALLEY 15: Cole McDevitt passed for 209 yards and three TDs, leading the Lightning past the Eagles.

• MAHTOMEDI 34, SIMLEY 21: Kellen Campbell rushed for three toucdowns and passed for two, carrying the Zephyrs past the Spartans.

• PIERZ 27, ROCKFORD 12: Robbie Skiba rushed for 253 yards and two TDs to help the Pioneers, ranked No. 4 in Class 3A, stay unbeaten.

• ST. CROIX LUTHERAN 50, NEW LIFE ACADEMY 28: Keegan Smith rushed for three TDs and Josh Tietz threw two touchdown passes and ran for a TD in leading the Crusaders, ranked No. 5 in Class 3A, past the Eagles.

• ST. FRANCIS 27, BUFFALO 14: John Santiago rushed for 201 yards and two scores as the Saints held off the Bison.

• ARMSTRONG 28, PARK CENTER 20: Thomas Barber scored three touchdowns and had a team-high 14 tackles for the Falcons in a victory over the Pirates.

• ORONO 39, DELANO 21: Hank Seward threw three TD passes and ran for two TDs as the Spartans pulled away for the victory.
