Friday's prep football roundup: Prior Lake edges Eagan on two-point conversion

• PRIOR LAKE 15, EAGAN 14: Alex Hart’s 1-yard TD run and Lucas Olson’s two-point conversion run with 2:16 remaining in the fourth quarter lifted the Lakers, ranked No. 6 in the Metro Top 10 and No. 7 in Class 6A, to the victory. Eagan led 14-7 at halftime behind Troy Brown’s 30-yard and 78-yard TD runs. Hart finished with 157 yards to lead the Lakers, while Brown finished with 185 yards for Eagan.

• ROSEMOUNT 49, APPLE VALLEY 7: Jackson Erdmann passed for 221 yards and two TDs and rushed for two more to lead the Irish, ranked No. 2 in the Metro Top 10 and Class 6A. Dimitri ran for three TDs for the Irish.

• EAST RIDGE 37, WHITE BEAR LAKE 0: Seth Green passed for 154 yards and two TDs and rushed for 148 yards to lead the Raptors, ranked No. 3 in the Metro Top 10 and No. 4 in Class 6A.

• MAPLE GROVE 50, BLAINE 0: The Crimson, ranked No. 4 in the Metro and No. 3 in Class 6A, scored 14 points in the final three minutes of the first half en route to the victory over the Bengals. Chris Fondakowski’s 26-yard fumble return for a TD with 2:32 left in the half gave the Crimson a 27-0 lead. With 1:28 remaining in the half, the Crimson extended its lead to 34-0 on Clark Weineke’s 56-yard TD run.

• HUTCHINSON 46, DELANO 7: Adam Elliott rushed for four TDs and Robbie Grimsley ran for three scores as the Tigers, ranked No. 7 in the Metro Top 10 and No. 1 in Class 4A, ran to their 32nd consecutive victory.

• ROGERS 42, MONTICELLO 12: Gunnar Bloom scored on runs of 70, 23 and 10 yards in the first half to spark the Royals, ranked No. 2 in Class 5A, past the Magic. Bloom finished with 161 yards in 13 carries.

• CHISAGO LAKES 41, NORTH BRANCH 21: Joseph Virga rushed for 186 yards and three TDs and caught a scoring pass to pace the Wildcats, ranked No. 4 in Class 5A.

• ST. MICHAEL-ALBERTVILLE 64, DULUTH EAST 0: Tyler Hayes and Jordan Joseph each scored two touchdowns in the first quarter to spark the Knights, ranked No. 8 in Class 5A.

• HOLY ANGELS 40, COLUMBIA HEIGHTS 13: Anthony Eckholm passed for 161 yards and three TDs and ran for 151 yards and a score to lead the Stars, ranked No. 3 in Class 4A.

• BECKER 59, MILACA 16: The Bulldogs, ranked No. 6 in Class 4A, outscored Milaca 39-0 in the second half to pull away for the victory. Michael Veldman passed for 222 yards and four touchdowns.

• ST. CROIX LUTHERAN 20, ST. ANTHONY 6: Trever Koester rushed for 137 yards and two TDs to lead the Crusaders, ranked No. 6 in Class 3A, to the victory.

• MINNEAPOLIS NORTH 39, MINNEAPOLIS EDISON 0: The Polars, ranked No. 6 in Class 1A, remained unbeaten with their fourth shutout of the season. The Polars have allowed just 12 points in six games.

• BUFFALO 27, CAMBRIDGE-ISANTI 21 (OT): Wyatt Brings’ 8-yard TD run in the overtime — his third TD of the game — capped the dramatic victory. Brings’ 8-yard TD run with 50 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter — and the two-point conversion — tied the score 21-21.

• CENTENNIAL 24, COON RAPIDS 0: Tyler Iaquinto rushed for 222 yards and two TDs and Danny Anderson returned an interception 29 yards as the Cougars stopped the Cardinals.

• HOLY FAMILY 33, NEW PRAGUE 14: Chazz Johnson rushed for 240 yards and four touchdowns to spark the Fire.

• MINNEAPOLIS WASHBURN 26, MINNEAPOLIS SOUTH 18: Alex Reyes’ 12-yard TD pass to DeAngelo Moore — his fourth TD pass of the game — with 3:31 remaining helped the Millers outlast the Tigers.

• NEW LIFE ACADEMY 20, ST. AGNES 14: Seth Rice’s 4-yard TD run with 14 seconds remaining lifted the Eagles to the victory in the final high school football game at Midway Stadium.

• ORONO 28, WACONIA 14: Blake Leischow caught two touchdown passes and made a key interception in the closing minutes to lead the Spartans past the Wildcats.

• ST. FRANCIS 45, PRINCETON 32: John Santiago rushed for 334 yards and four scores to help the Saints outlast Princeton. Santiago, who scored on runs of 13, 65, 70 and 54 yards, also recovered a fumble.

• ST. THOMAS ACADEMY 12, MAHTOMEDI 7: Ryan Barnes and Nick Motzel scored five minutes apart in the second quarter as the Cadets held on to beat the Zephyrs.

• TARTAN 21, FRIDLEY 13: Emmanuel Willies rushed for 224 yards and two TDs and caught a scoring pass to lead the Titans past the Tigers.
