Hopkins tops Minnetonka

• HOPKINS 29, MINNETONKA 18: Senior running back Harry Momah’s 3-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter sealed the Lake Conference victory for the Royals. Momah’s game-clinching score was set up by an interception by Mannie Kugmeh the previous drive.

• BLOOMINGTON JEFFERSON 41, RICHFIELD 0: Senior Zach Ubben passed for four touchdowns and completed all 12 of his passes, including an 84-yard bomb to Kevin Lorton, to lead the Jaguars to an easy Metro West victory. Ubben, who also rushed for a touchdown, needed only one half to dismantle the Spartans defense as the game was called at halftime because of lightning.

• HILL MURRAY 17, ST. THOMAS ACADEMY 14: Eric Burns’ 22-yard field goal in the fourth quarter lifted the Pioneers to their first victory over the Cadets since 2003.

• EAST RIDGE 50, WOODBURY 0: The Raptors, ranked No. 4 in the Star Tribune Metro Top 10, ran up 50 points on their crosstown rival in a game that was called with 1:38 left in the second quarter because of lightning. Junior defensive back Griffen Davis returned a punt for a touchdown and intercepted two passes.

• OSSEO 47, SPRING LAKE PARK 13: Prince Kruah rushed for 295 yards and three touchdown on 14 carries to pace the Orioles to a Northwest Suburban victory. Kruah’s performance was highlighted by a 99-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

• MOUND WESTONKA 21, ANNANDALE 16: Defensive lineman Joe Duffy picked up a fumble and rumbled 27 yards into the end zone to lead the White Hawks to their first home Wright County victory in five years. Duffy’s scoop-and-score gave his team a 21-8 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

• APPLE VALLEY 50, FARMINGTON 0: Senior Matt Morse passed for 175 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Eagles to a blowout South Suburban victory. Morse added 70 yards rushing, including a 42-yard touchdown run to open the game. Donovan Dalton caught three passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns.

• ST. FRANCIS 45, CAMBRIDGE-ISANTI 12: Quarterback Hunter Trautman went 10-for-12 for 255 yards and threw four touchdown passes as St. Francis cruised to a Mississippi 8 victory. Wide receiver Tyler Pallum and tight end Blake Moreno each caught two touchdown passes. Pallum finished with three catches for 151 yards. Junior running back Max Greene rushed for 170 yards on 19 carries.

• TOTINO-GRACE 42, WAYZATA 14: Running back Kez Flomo and quarterback Lance Benick rushed for two touchdowns each to carry the Eagles, ranked No. 6 in the Star Tribune Metro Top 10.

• MAPLE GROVE 43, CHAMPLIN PARK 14: Senior running back Clark Wieneke rushed 104 rushing yards on 18 carries and scored three touchdowns, lifting the Crimson, No. 5 in the Star Tribune Metro Top 10, to a victory. Defensive back Lukas Burrington had two interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown.

• BENILDE-ST. MARGARET’S 73, BLOOMINGTON KENNEDY 34: The Red Knights fell behind 14-0 to start the game but roared back behind a 45-point second quarter for a wild Metro West victory. Nate Berry rushed for 291 yards and two touchdowns and Austin Robertson added 167 yards and four touchdowns for Benilde-St. Margaret’s. The Red Hawks rushed for 544 yards on 54 carries.

• CENTENNIAL 7, ANOKA 0: Tyler Iaquinto’s 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter was enough to lead Centennial to a Northwest Suburban victory. Iaquinto finished the game with 26 carries for 92 yards and the only score of the game.

• EDEN PRAIRIE 34, EDINA 14: Senior running back Will Rains rushed for 104 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Eagles, ranked No. 1 in the Star Tribune Metro Top 10, to a Lake Conference victory. Edina struggled to move the ball against the Eagles defense, which didn’t allow two touchdowns until late in the game.

• CRETIN-DERHAM HALL 42, FOREST LAKE 20: Quarterback Max Jackson passed for 198 yards and three touchdowns to pace the Raiders to a Suburban East victory. Jackson added another score with his legs. Forest Lake pulled within eight in the third quarter, but the Raiders pulled away with 21 second-half points.

• HENRY SIBLEY 14, TARTAN 8: With the score tied 8-8, quarterback Zach Edwards connected with David Couper on a 54-yard strike in the third quarter for the go-ahead score.

• ROSEMOUNT 42, EAGAN 14: Dimitri Williams rushed for two touchdowns and caught another to lead the Irish, ranked No. 2 in the Star Tribune Metro Top 10, to the victory over rival Eagan.

• MAHTOMEDI 33, NORTH ST. PAUL 18: Quarterback Kellen Campbell ran for three touchdowns and threw for another to lead the Zephyrs to the Metro East victory.
