Shutting out the competition, Moorhead won against Duluth Denfeld 35 to zip at Moorhead High School in Moorhead on Friday. Moorhead chalked up 21 straight points to take the lead in the first quarter. Moorhead gained 7 points in the second quarter and held on to its lead. The half ended with Moorhead on top 28 to 0. Moorhead's defense shut down Duluth Denfeld for the rest of the game. Neither team scored in the third quarter so Moorhead held on to its lead. Moorhead scored 7 points in the fourth quarter piling on and winning the game.
