Chanhassen defeated Chaska 18 to 7 at Chaska High School in Chaska on Friday. Neither team managed to put points on the board in the first quarter. Chanhassen gained 6 unanswered points in the second quarter to break the tie and take the lead. The half ended with Chanhassen up 6 to 0. In the third quarter Chaska managed to outscore Chanhassen 7 to 6, however Chanhassen was able to keep its lead. Chanhassen scored 6 unanswered points in the fourth quarter adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

Chanhassen's offensive effort contributed to the victory.

The Chaska offense didn't perform as well.
