 SOUTH SUBURBAN
• BURNSVILLE 36, EASTVIEW 29: Burnsville used a 21-point fourth quarter, capped by Dan Motl’s 43-yard TD pass to Jalen Dyson with 1:07 left and the score tied 29-29, to stun Eastview. Motl played a role in all 21 of the Blaze’s fourth-quarter points. In addition to the clinching TD pass, he ran for two TDs and kicked all three extra points.
• PRIOR LAKE 21, EAGAN 14: A comfortable Prior Lake margin turned into a nail-biter. A 4-yard Drew Bauer touchdown toss made it a one-possession game late in the fourth quarter, and the Wildcats recovered an onside kick to keep Prior Lake on its heels. But Eagan failed in its four attempts to find the end zone as the Lakers held on for the victory.

MINNEAPOLIS CITY
• MPLS. SOUTHWEST 28, MPLS. SOUTH 0: The Lakers used a stingy defense and solid ground game to blank the Tigers. A scoreless tie at half was broken open by juniors DeAnthony McKinley (19 carries, 125 yards) and Dantavian Sears (11 carries, 115 yards), who each ran for a touchdown in the third quarter. McKinley also scored on a 24-yard reception from junior quarterback Maurice Alexander.

MISSISSIPPI 8
• ST. MICHAEL-ALBERTVILLE 14, CAMBRIDGE-ISANTI 0: Bennie Wilson’s 2-yard touchdown plunge with a little more than 4 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter capped a 70-yard, 11-plus-minute drive and iced the game for St. Michael-Albertville.
