Wayzata vs. Eden Prairie
7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 22

Eden Prairie has cruised to victories in each of the first three weeks, and the No. 1-6A Eagles look to continue that dominance this week as they open up their Metro West subdistrict league schedule by hosting Wayzata.

While Eden Prairie's defense has been the highlight thus far — allowing just 6.7 points per game — the Eagles (3-0) can certainly put points on the board. Senior quarterback Cole Kramer has thrown five touchdown passes, and senior running back Antonio Montero has led the ground game with five rushing TDs.

The Trojans (1-2) have stumbled since their impressive 28-27 win over Rosemount in the season opener. They fell to Minnetonka 21-6 on Sept. 8 and suffered a 29-0 blowout to Edina last week.

Eden Prairie has won the last five meetings with Wayzata, with the Trojans' last victory coming in a 16-0 shutout in 2012.
