Osseo vs. Maple Grove
7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 31

While Maple Grove has been a model of consistency by winning eight or more games in each of the last five seasons, it was rival Osseo that grabbed a state title with its incredible run two season ago.

The Crimson look to continue their success this year, despite graduating Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year, Brad Davison, who was the majority of their offense as a dual-threat quarterback.

The Orioles, on the other hand, stumbled to a 2-7 record one year after winning it all.

This matchup has had several close games in recent years, with the combined margin of victory in the last three contests being 18 points and Osseo boasting a 2-1 record.
