St. Paul Central at Minneapolis North
4 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30

St. Paul Central defeated Minneapolis North 36-35 last season, but the outcome was changed to a 2-0 Polars' victory some days later when the Minutemen forfeited the game due to an ineligible player.

They get another crack to record a win that will count this week with a non-district matchup against their inter-city rival.

North looks to slow a St. Paul Central team that appears to have come back as strong as ever.

The Minutemen's ability to score was on display last week when they found the end zone in four different ways en route to a 56-14 win over Minneapolis Southwest. They had five rushing TDs, a pick-6 and returned a punt and kickoff for touchdowns.

If the Polars special teams can avoid giving up points, North possesses a staunch defense that can counteract St. Paul Central's potent offense. The Polars have not allowed more than 15 points in a game all season and held two of their four opponents to just single digit point totals.
