Totino-Grace at Blaine
7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30

Blaine has little time to lick the wounds from its first loss of the season, a 34-30 defeat to Champlin Park last Friday, as the Bengals host No. 1-6A Totino-Grace in a West Metro District North Division clash.

Since edging Eden Prairie 17-14 in Week 1, the Eagles (4-0, 3-0) have blown out their next three opponents by a combined score of 112-20. Their offensive production is bad news for the Bengals (3-1, 2-1), who surely remember the 35-7 drubbing from a season ago.

Despite Totino-Grace's impressive offensive dominance, Blaine enters the week as the highest-scoring team in the league, averaging 37.5 points per game. The Bengals must utilize every ounce of their offensive ability to get past a stingy Eagles defense that is surrendering just 8.5 ppg.
