Fridley at St. Croix Lutheran
7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 30

There's no question who St. Croix Lutheran coach Carl Lemke and his defense will be looking to stop this season. In last year's loss to Fridley, the Crusaders were unable to stop running back Prince Okolie, who bulldozed his way to 251 yards and three touchdowns.

Okolie, now a senior, once again leads the Tigers offense with 560 rushing yards and three TDs.

But he's not the only player to worry about in Fridley's versatile offense. Junior quarterback Noah Couwenhoven has added an aerial attack to the mix, throwing for 631 yards and seven touchdowns.

If it comes to fighting fire with fire, St. Croix Lutheran seems well-suited with explosive players on offense. Quarterback Isaac Tietz leads a Crusaders offense that has scored more than 30 points every game this season. Tietz has 12 touchdowns (8 passing, 4 rushing) already this season.
