Totino-Grace at Osseo
7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 23

Reigning Class 6A champion Osseo has gone through a rough start to season, and the schedule doesn't get any easier this week for the Orioles as they host Totino-Grace.

Osseo (1-2, 1-1) lost two of its first three games, including a 25-18 defeat to West Metro District North Division foe Anoka last week. Home field may not be much of an advantage Friday, as the Orioles welcome an Eagles team that has  become increasingly stronger since defeating Eden Prairie in the season opener. Totino-Grace (3-0, 2-0) recorded blowout wins over Anoka and Andover the next two weeks, strengthening the Eagles' position atop the Class 6A rankings.

Totino-Grace's success stems from two effective senior running backs, as Ivan Burlak (307 yards, 3 TDs) and Gayflor Flomo (219 yards, 2 TDs) have paced the offense.
