Osseo at Maple Grove

Rivals Maple Grove came close to meeting Osseo in a winner-take-all Class 6A state title game last season, but the Crimson lost in the semifinals while the Orioles put together a brilliant run en route to the championship.

While the stakes are a bit lower this go-round, Maple Grove's Week 1, home matchup with Osseo nonetheless has significance, as the winner claims bragging rights. 

Thanks to two narrow victories, the Orioles have held the position the past two seasons. Osseo won the opener 22-15 a year ago and took a Week 7 matchup 27-26 the season before.
