Jackson County Central (10-2) capitalized on turnovers in its victory over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton on Saturday. The Huskies scored 13 points off a fumble and interception.

“Turnovers normally decide these buggers,” said Tom Schuller, Jackson County Central coach. 

Senior running backs Keegan Moore and Avery Henderson helped decide it, too. Moore scored three touchdowns, racking up 175 yards on 26 carries.

“Our O line does it, man,” Moore said. “It’s easy to run through big holes.”

Henderson had 28 carries for 170 yards and a touchdown. 

The Huskies outgained Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (10-2) 391 to 251 in total yards.

Jackson County Central returns to the Prep Bowl for the first time since they won it in 2001. The Huskies have outscored opponents 531-166 this season.

Jackson County Central capitalized on turnovers and used strong performances from running backs Keegan Moore and Avery Henderson en route to a 30-14 victory over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton on Saturday in the Class 3A state semifinal.

Moore had three rushing touchdowns for Jackson County Central.
The Huskies got 13 points off turnovers by the Rebels.

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton took a 7-3 lead by the end of the first quarter at Maple Grove High School. But Jackson County Central had a 2-yard score to start the second quarter for a 10-7 lead. It never trailed after that.
