Tri-City United at Marshall
7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 2

Marshall has followed a tried-and-true recipe to win games this season: score a lot of points and keep opponents out of the end zone. The No. 4-4A Tigers (6-0, 6-0) have been among the state's best in doing both, entering Week 7 with the third-most points scored (316) while giving up just seven.

That may change this week when Marshall faces its toughest opponent so far in Tri-City United (6-0, 5-0), which comes to town for a battle of undefeated South Central Red subdistrict teams.

While the Titans don't boast offensive numbers similar to the Tigers, they have allowed just 5.5 points per game and have two shutouts.
