Orono at Chaska
7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 2

Chaska's defense has come on strong, surrendering just 16 points in the last three weeks. However, the Hawks will be tested against an Orono offense that has scored 280 points, the state's eighth-highest season total.

Chaska will look to slow a Spartans offense led by quarterback Hank Seward and running back David McCuskey. Seward has thrown 10 touchdowns and rushed for four more while McCuskey ran in four TDs last week, bringing his season total to 13.

The Hawks counter with some quality offense players. Quarterback Alexander Strazzanti gives the team a dual threat with 10 touchdown passes and eight rushing TDs. Running back Will Olson has been the workhorse on the ground, picking up 907 yards and six TDs on 117 carries.

Both defenses have been good at creating turnovers. Each has nine interceptions while Orono has returned three for TDs.
