Hutchinson running back Robbie Grimsley on Sunday was named Mr. Football 2014 by the Minnesota Football Coaches Association.

Grimsley, a senior who was named at the Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year, rushed 155 times for 1,668 yards and 31 touchdowns, caught 11 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns and intercepted two passes for the Tigers, who were ranked No. 1 in Class 4A all season before losing to DeLaSalle in the Class 4A semifinals. He has given a verbal commitment to North Dakota St. as a defensive back.

Grimley is the 11th winner of the Mr. Football award, which was first presented in 2004.
