Recap: Kez Flomo ran for 138 yards on 21 carries and two touchdowns to lift Totino-Grace to a Class 6A section crossover game victory in Fridley. The Eagles ball-control offense spent almost 35 minutes on the field, amassing 337 rushing yards. After Stillwater scored on a nine-play, 68-yard drive to open the game, the Eagles defense limited the Ponies offense to only 100 total yards for the rest of the game.

Key of the game: Leading by eight points at halftime, Totino-Grace opened the second half with a 6-minute, 54-second drive, capping by a 16-yard touchdown run by quarterback Lance Benick.

One thing to know: Entering the game, running back Zach Knox needed only 24 yards to become Stillwater’s career leading rusher. The senior gained 99 yards and ended his career with 3,104.

Kez Flomo ran for 138 yards on 21 carries and two touchdowns to lift Totino-Grace to a 29-13 victory over Stillwater on Friday to claim a spot in the Class 6A state tournament.

The Eagles ball-control offense generated 337 yards on the ground.

After Stillwater scored on the opening drive of the game, the Eagles' defense clamped down and held the Ponies offense scoreless for the rest of the game. The Ponies added a late defensive touchdown when linebacker Andrew Lammers picked up a fumble and returned it 34-yards.
