Glencoe-Silver Lake at New London-Spicer

Glencoe-Silver Lake travels to New London-Spicer in a Wright County West Division matchup featuring two Class 3A ranked teams looking to bounce back from ugly losses last week.

The Panthers, No. 10, and the Wildcats, No. 1, must improve defensively after struggling in Week 3. Glencoe-Silver Lake (1-2) surrendered 47 points in a loss to Hutchinson while New London-Spicer (2-1) gave up 26 points to Holy Family Catholic. 

The Panthers and the Wildcats are coming off seasons where they each reached the state tournament. St. Croix Lutheran got the best of both teams at the Metrodome, defeating Glenco-Silver Lake in the quarterfinals and New London-Spicer in the finals.

Glenco-Silver Lake topped New London-Spicer 42-25 last season, one of three Wildcats losses.
