Mankato West at Owatonna
7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 19

Owatonna must tame Mankato West's powerful offense for the Huskies to have a shot at winning this game, but stopping the Scarlets could be easier said than done.

Mankato West senior quarterback Ryan Schlichte has 837 yards and 13 touchdowns passing and has thrown no interceptions. Connor Watts has been his go-to receiver, catching 18 passes for 343 yards and six scores. Kevin Marzolf and Josh Athey each have more than 150 receiving yards.

While Mankato West's offense is putting up great numbers, the Scarlets' defense still needs to come up with key stops. The Scarlets can start by holding Owatonna running back Julius Franklin in check. Franklin carried the ball 33 times for 238 yards and three touchdowns in Week 3.
