Chaska and Chanhassen are the preseason favorites to win the title in newly formed Metro West Conference. Benilde-St. Margaret's, however, hopes to prove the preseason predictions wrong as the Red Knights travel to Chaska and take on the Hawks this Friday.

Chaska rebounded from a 31-16 loss to Wisconsin powerhouse Menomonie two weeks ago with a 27-0 victory against Forest Lake last week. Peyton Sanders leads the Hawks after piling up 143 total yards and two touchdowns.

Red Knights senior running back Nate Berry rushed for 154 yards and a score in a season-opening loss to Holy Angels.
