After nine consecutive losses to Mounds View, White Bear Lake finally got one back in 2013 when the teams met in Week 7. The Bears' victory was short-lived as the Mustangs won two weeks later to knock White Bear Lake out of the playoffs in the opening round.

White Bear Lake must eliminate mistakes when it goes on the road on Friday. The Bears had seven turnovers in their 34-27 loss to Cretin-Derham Hall last week. Mounds View won 36-7 at Woodbury last week.
