These teams have traded regular-season victories in each of the past to years, with Rosemount winning 24-13 last season and Prior Lake securing a 17-7 win in 2012.

Rosemount is coming off a 41-6 victory against Eastview. Irish quarterback Jackson Erdmann threw three touchdown passes and the versatile Dmitri Williams scored twice on the ground and once on special teams.

Prior Lake defeated Lakeville South 43-21 in the season opener. The Lakers had six players find the end zone with four of those touchdowns coming on the ground, one through the air and one on defense.
